WHAT WE DO: HAIR REVITALIZATION
We are primarily accepting new clients who wish to achieve healthier hair with the help of protective styling – hair weaves. We are most concerned with the health of your hair first, then the style. Majority of our clients do not need a consultation. We allow customers to visit our location to ask questions during regular business hours. But if you would like an in-depth consultation which explains and compares the different services we provide. We recommend booking a consultation. Additionally, if you’ve never received any weave or hair extension installation service before a consultation is recommended. We will also let you know if we feel that you are not a good candidate for a weave or hair extension service as well. Not everyone’s hair is suitable for a weave or braiding service. We have many clients who suffer from hair loss caused by trichotillomania, Alopecia, & Cancer. There are many hair replacement options available for those with these conditions. We provide a discreet place for individuals to feel comfortable. This is the main reason we do not allow additional guests to come along to your hair appointment. We can also assist individuals with being reimbursed by their insurance company. We were recently named the Hair Extension Experts by the Boston Herald.
TIPS FOR CHOOSING HAIR SERVICES
If you have finer hair (Caucasian Hair) clients usually prefer traditional installs, micro beads, or tape in hair extensions. If you do not want to leave any hair out. We recommend Closure installations over Frontal installs. Frontal installations are high maintenance and require a lot of upkeep. If you sweat a lot, this may not be the service for you. Vixen, two-part, and three-part installation usually require fullness throughout the entire head and you having shoulder length hair on your head. When in doubt book a consultation. We do not do maintenance such as retightening on clients who were not serviced by us originally. We can only provide styling for those who were installed somewhere else.
TIMEFRAME ON CUSTOM PRODUCT & SERVICES:
We require a minimum of 3 working days to complete custom wig units and custom colors. Dependent on what your trying to achieve it can take longer. Giving us enough time for these processes ensures you receive exactly what you requested. We rarely ever can complete a same day custom color.
Must be made at least 72 hours in advance on our website. If you would like a same day appointment or an appointment within the next 3 days. You must call 617-276-3337 first to verify availability. Otherwise you may be denied service.

Note about Saturday slots: Saturday and evening slots fill up very quickly with our existing clients. New clients will most-likely be unable to get a Saturday slot for the 1st appointment — or even the 2nd appointment.
PREMIUM DAYS OF OPERATION SUNDAY & MONDAYS – $100 SURCHARGE
DEPOSITS FOR APPOINTMENTS:
A deposit of $50 is required for ALL appointments except appointments with the premium surcharge and hair extension with installation package the entire fee of the appointment is due at booking. (all weave services and non-weave services) for all clients. 48 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations.
A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your appointment. The deposit will be applied to the total cost of your service on the day of your appointment. When booking your appointment and requesting an invoice to be sent to your email. It must be paid immediately. Invoices are cancelled after 24 hours of non-payment.
HAIR EXTENSION RECOMMENDATION:
In 2013 we started a hair extension company with the intent to source the highest quality of hair available. Our founder has been importing hair from Asia for 13 years. When purchasing Intriguing Hair, we can guarantee the quality. We know the product very well. All hair is not created equal. It is very common for our clients who install Intriguing Hair at our hair extension bar to use the same hair extensions for several years. Installing good quality hair extensions allows your installation to last the recommended timeframe. Most hair extension installs last anywhere from 8-10 weeks.
The Hair industry currently is saturated with two types of bad quality hair extensions. Raw hair which comes from older hair donors. This hair tends to be much dryer and have grey hairs. It’s very hard to color and usually only able to lift to a level 7. This is usually labeled as Indian or Burmese hair. Then we have human hair mixed with synthetic fibers and/or animal hair. This hair can be found at local beauty supplies or hair being sold as bundles from individual vendors. This hair is usually labeled as 4a 5a 6a 7a etc. The hair industry has no governing grading system. In our experience it is often labeled as Brazilian or Mink. The bundles usually have gold wrappings. This hair usually only lasts until the silicone wears off. Which can happen within a few hours, days, or weeks. We do not recommend these types of hair extensions. Another important factor to consider when purchasing quality hair extensions: The hair extensions if at the same cost or lower than the service you are receiving is a good indicator that the quality of hair will not last.
Clients who purchase Intriguing Hair save an additional $25. We do install hair provided by other hair companies. We charge an additional $25 to do so. We use more products and take more time on lower quality hair extensions. When installing a frontal or 360 frontal installation the fee is waived.
48 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations, otherwise the deposit becomes non-transferable and it serves as the cancellation fee.
Here are a few examples of when your deposit will be forfeited:
– If you cancel the same day, or the day before
– If you ordered your own hair and it does not come in time
– If you are extremely late for your appointment (about 30 minutes or more)
– If on the same day or day before you decide that you’d like to have a different service instead of the weave redo service that you initially booked.
These reasons are just to name a FEW. We have zero tolerance for clients who do not show up for appointments without calling.
We allow a 15-minute grace period. Afterwards a late fee may apply.
